A period with a difference of one or two days is considered regular period. If you find your unfertile days for sex it will be very good, because you did not want to use condom/pills.
During a period (start from first day of menses up to the day before next menses) the ovulation day is the most fertile day. Generally with 28 or 30 days period the ovulation accrues at the 14th day (plus, minus one day) from start of period (menses) after ovulation the fertility chance remains for about one day.
The general fertile days start from 4th or 5th day of period and remain until 1 day after ovulation day. In The remaining days you can participate directly in sex (to be more safe you can add 1 day to both side of your fertility days).
